                Anawar Hlwam Co., Ltd. is a limited company form of 100% Myanmar in 1987 and started the business by catching shrimp and fish at along the costal of Catching Ground in Myanmar Water.

                With a view to promote the seafood business by quality products as well as focusing on the processing of fish and shrimp in Myanmar, so endowed with setting up a new 1000MT of Cold Storage and Processing Plant, 300MT Ice Making Factory and fish/prawn sales Jetty which can be berthed (3) vessels at the same time on the river side of Hlaing River at Hlaing Thayar Industrial Zone, Yangon, Myanmar.

                According to our statistical data, the catching raw material landing capacity is approximately 6,000MT of fish (Hilsa, Ribbon Fish, Yellow Croaker, Red Snapper, Yellow Queen Fish, White Pomfret, Ocean Cat Fish, Spanish Mackerel, Cuttle Fish, Squid & other species) and 2,400MT of shrimp (Pink, Sea Tiger/Flower, White & other species) per year at our catching ground by our own vessels.

                In Year 2004, the new project is set up at Ma-Eu-Pin (Arrawaddy Division), one hour drive away from our processing plant for Fish Farming. The land area is about 500 Hectare and about 1,000 MT/month of high quality fresh water fish, mainly Rohu, can be produced by our own farms. We are increasing our investment, production capacity and other advanced facilities year by year at our fish farming project since 2004. Up to now, there are total farm area about 1,200 Hectare.

                Furthermore, there are our partners in contract farms system, who can provide around 500 MT/month of Rohu to us regularly.

                Therefore, we are exporting totally 1,500MT/month of especially Rohu fish to the Global Markets. The available sizes are 1000-1500 gm/pcs, 1500-2000 gm/pcs, 2000-3000 gm/pcs & 3000 gm up, as to in large volumes of very fresh quality of fresh water fish at reasonable price exporting to our customers in Bangladesh, Middle East Countries, EU Countries. In addition, we are now supplying fresh water fishes as per our customers’ requirement, quality and quantity throughout the whole year.

                In the recent year, we are emphasizing on Mrigal, Soft Shell Crab & Pangush (Basa) as specialized additional products to harvest at our own farms. We do hope to extend our fish farming project upon the market demand. Besides 1,500 MT of Rohu exported volume presently, we are intend to increase the production capacity of Mrigal, Soft Shell Crab and Pangush (Basa) in the near future.

                The Turn-over of our company Exported Value is approximately United States Dollars Thirty Million per year.
